Mrs Baija Rani Lijin (Bharathanatyam)
A flawless dancer, choreographer.Started Learning Bharathanatyam from 3years under the guidance of KalamandalamBaghyaswari in Kerala. Her first public performance known as Arangetram was at the age of 13 years. She has performed for Delhi Doordarshan for over 10 years. She has given innumerable performances in some of the Renowned temples of South India and corporate shows. She is currently pursuing her Higher studies in Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi. She has been associated with BTA as a Bharathanatyam Facilitator for over 7 years and has enjoyed every moment as a Teacher.
Mrs Manjula Krishnakumar (Bharathanatyam)
Manjula is one of the First Trainers to join BTA in 2009. Manjula started learning Bharathanatyam at an early age from her father and Guru N NBhaskar who is one of the renowned Bharathanatyam artists who has trained well know personalities including many actors in the film industry. Completed her Vidwat in Bharathanatyam – Karnataka Secondry Board.She started performing from the age of 4. Manjula started her teaching career at the age of 18 under the guidance of her Father. She comes with immense teaching experience. She also learnt Mohiniyattam from guruKalamandalamSatyabhama.
Mrs Subhashini Krishnakumar (Bharathanatyam)
She started learning Bharathanatyam under the tutelage of Smt.KalaimamaniK.J.Sarasa at a tender age and continued to fine-tune her skills for 14 years. She has performed in a lot of professional classical ballets in India & also in the USA.
Subhashini strongly believes that her guru’s guidance and her deep dedication are behind her success. She has participated in Group dance programmes in well-known festivals like the Mamallapuram Dance Festival, Tanjore Festival, Tirupati and in most of the sabhas in Chennai. She has given solo dance performances & Lecture demonstration in USA & in Tamilnadu.She has been teaching Bharathanatyam for the past 15 years. Subhashini has a keen interest in community service and has raised thousands of dollars for temples & tsunami relief through dance.
Mrs Akshaya Sundari (Bharathanatyam)
Started her Bharathanatyam Learning journey at the age of 6 under her Father Guru Sri VidwanNarayana who has been awarded National award – BharathiyaNruthyaThilaka in the year 2013 at Delhi. She has learnt Mysore and Tanjore Style of Bharathanatyam. Completed VidwatBharathanatyam Exam Under Karnataka State Board.
Sri VidwanNarayana Established ‘Raja RajeshwariNatya Kala Sangha’ in 1989, Akshaya started her teaching journey along with her Father and Sister in 2011 and has mentored 100’s of Bharathanatyam students since then.
She is Honoured ‘NruthyaChaitraPrashasthi’ and ‘SamskruthaKalaradanaPrashasthi’. Has been associated with BTA for 2 years now.
Mrs Srividya Anand (Bharathanatyam)
SrividyaAnand is a graduate from Kalakshetra Chennai. She initially learnt Bharathanatyam in Kolkata and performed her Rangapravesha to a packed audience in 1993. Deciding to delve deeper into the art of Bharathanatyam, Srividya joined the world renowned institute Kalakshetra, Chennai and completed her 4 years full time diploma in Bharatanatyam.She has performed extensively all over India, notable among them being a performance in the presence of the home minister of Karnataka in 2007. Srividya aims to create fine dancers and pioneers who will keep this art form alive and will reach out to many generations of art lovers to come.
A committed, passionate, challenging dance teacher who with utmost devotion wishes to deliver her learning and experience to her students and enlighten the classical dance form. A professional dancer, is pursuing Bharathanatyam under the guidance of Guru Smt.Vidushi Geetha Srinath from past 17 yrs. She has performed in many TV channels and has given many noted stage performances.
Mr Sedrick Flex (Freestyle Dance)
Sedrick has been involved in dance since he was a child. His dedication and love for dance enhanced under the guidance of his master Gabriel Prabhu. A passionate and a versatile Dance Trainer. He has been teaching for over 3 Years and has been associated with BTA for over a year now.
Mr Ranjith Kumar (Freestyle Dance)
Ranjith is a very energetic, fun-loving and passionate freestyle dancer. Trained under Gabriel Prabhu. A Freestyle dance and Zumba Trainer, with a teaching experience of 5 years. Ranjith has loved and enjoyed every moment of his teaching career Ranjith has been associated with BTA since 2015.
Ms.Varsha Kishen (Freestyle Dance)
A Professional Dance instructor who has been teaching since 2013 at Gabriel Dance Academy and Butterfly Talent Academy. She is also a Professional Zumba trainer. Has been into dance since childhood and loves to teach.
Mrs.Doreen Joann (Kathak)
Mrs.Joann works with a vision to teach children and teens not only to perform on stage and beyond, but more importantly to emerge as strong, confident beings, performing better in life. As a dedicated Dancer, a professional Choreographer and Innovator, Joann has a flair for stagecraft since the last 16 years. A Kathak Dancer herself, she has completed her Bachelors in the Performing Arts and is a keen enthusiast who has also dabbled in different types of dance styles like Contemporary, Jazz, Freestyle, Folk and Bollywood.
Mr Gabriel Prabhu (Freestyle Dance &Zumba)
Started Professional career in 2009.
Started as a dance teacher in Ryan international school worked there for 2 years
He has now his own Dance Academy called Gabriel Dance Academy
He has choreographed dance for many schools and colleges like Ryan International, Vibgyor, Indian Academy, St Josephs, Christ College, Jyothinivas and also companies like Infosys, Dell, Mind Tree.
He won the best choreographer and Best Dancer award in 10th International film Festival held at Delhi in 2012.
